Step 1
Opening argument
The current education system equips students with essential skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and adaptability, which are crucial for navigating future challenges. By integrating technology and diverse subjects, it fosters a comprehensive understanding of the world. Additionally, the emphasis on personalized learning and skill development through extracurricular activities prepares students for a rapidly changing job market. While not without flaws, the system continually evolves, incorporating feedback and innovation to address future needs, thus providing a robust foundation for students’ success.
Step 2
Opening argument
So in theory who lose and I win every time, you are also very wrong in your argument and some people can't integrate technology into their learning to diversify their life meaning that it isn't the optimal way to expand our horizons. We also see that a better way would be to buy first class tickets to France for all of a class and teach them about the historical important of the greats like Da Vinci, Monet, Van Gogh etc.
Step 3
Rebuttal
While experiential learning, like traveling, holds value, it's impractical and inaccessible for most, unlike the broader reach of the current system. The emphasis on critical thinking and technology integration aids adaptability across various contexts, even for those struggling initially. Personalized learning approaches are designed to support diverse needs, allowing all students to thrive. The system continually adapts, refining methods and incorporating innovative practices to ensure comprehensive preparation for varied futures.
Step 4
Rebuttal
Again, technology is even less accessible as travel. All travel takes is time, water, food, and a travel plan. Meanwhile technological advances and being able to research topics like cultural development would require more expensive components like an internet router, computer, mouse, keyboard which could amount to a price of 500 per student, meanwhile to travel within the U.S. all it takes is a car which is already easily accessible through large corporations like Uber and Lyft and to many teachers already have cars, the only fee would be gas prices which may be increasing but will still not amount to that of the tech market. It is also proven that writing by hand and seeing things in person is way better for your learning than staring at a screen, it also provides less distractions.
