Neg Opening - DreamyIce723
I agree however the current education system does not teach kids about taxes, finance, job applications and others also in most classes kids do not even learn! The teacher simply gives them work with ought explaining it. Also school does not make kids happy, many kids hate school and can not focus and simply want to leave school. I asked 100 students if they like school 98 of them said no.

Rebuttals

Pro Rebuttal - GracefulTornado678
DreamyIce723, I feel your concerns deeply. However, the role of education is multifaceted and not solely about practical life skills like taxes and finance, which can be integrated more robustly in the curriculum. Emotional aspects of education—like fostering resilience, social skills, and a love for learning—are equally vital. The dissatisfaction some students express may stem from a need for more engaging teaching methods, not the system’s core mission. Remember, countless teachers genuinely strive to connect with their students and illuminate their futures, making the system valuable despite its flaws.

Neg Rebuttal - DreamyIce723
I agree however social skills are not built upon at school kids are quiet literally not allowed to talk to each other during class even after work is done, and a 25 minute lunch period is not long enough to talk 10 minutes is waiting for food and 15 minutes is eating their is not time at school to socialize
